08 Jul 2018 Drake breaks Link Up TV’s one-day views record with his ‘Behind Barz’ freestyle
Drake has collaborated with Link Up TV to bring us a freestyle that delves into the nuances and mannerisms of Britain’s drill music scene.
Link Up recently broke their record for the most views accumulated in one day from a video with ‘Shiro’s Story (Part 2)’, which viewed over 860,000 in 24 hours. Drake’s Behind Barz has already piled up over 2,300,000 views in just 24 hours and was also the #1 trending video on YouTube.
His latest feat follows on from the Canadian becoming the first-ever artist to have an album streamed over one billion times in a week.
Drizzy displays a British-tinged drill flow behind a cold drill instrumental to send the internet wild, with outlets from all over the world reposting and sharing.
As well as YouTube views, the freestyle has already racked up over one million views on Link Up’s Instagram page, with many more millions spread across multiple reposts across social media.
