06 Sep Music 4 Mental Health: Ed Sheeran among performers confirmed for fundraiser
Award-winning campaign, #IAMWHOLE, is hosting a charity fundraising event to help de-stigmatise mental health.
Ed Sheeran will play an acoustic set at Music 4 Mental Health alongside performances from Anne-Marie, Olly Murs and Ella Eyre. The event will take place on Sunday 18 November 2018 at The Camden Roundhouse.
Speaking on the event, record-breaking artist Ed Sheeran said: “I’m so excited to be taking part in the first-ever Music 4 Mental Health event at the Roundhouse in November. Music is such an amazing way of taking the mental health conversation to a new level.
The creative director of the #IAMWHOLE campaign added: “If there was ever a sign that the needle is shifting towards more openness and honesty around mental health, then Music 4 Mental Health is it. I’m beyond excited that Ed Sheeran, James Arthur and Ella Eyre are the latest to join our line up alongside Anne-Marie and Olly Murs. Let’s shift that needle some more!”
#IAMWHOLE is an anti-stigma mental health campaign that works in tandem with the NHS and YMCA. The organisation seeks to help by starting conversations, educating people about mental health and encouraging young people to speak out about their issues.
Co-founded by Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks, the campaign was launched in 2016 and has since received support from the likes of Liam Gallagher, Paloma Faith, James Cordan, Nick Grimshaw and Professor Green. To find out more about their work, click here.
