Sales & Streams: Fredo’s debut album ‘Third Avenue’ goes top five while NSG’s ‘Options’ misses out on top 10 by close margin

Fredo’s debut album has enjoyed huge chart success.

Third Avenue entered the charts at #5 while ‘All I Ever Wanted (feat Dave)’ ranks at #15, the fourth single from his debut album to chart in recent weeks after ‘BMT’, ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and ‘Mmhm’ debuted at #25, #59 and #60 respectively.

NSG’s undeniable anthem, ‘Options (feat Tion Wayne)’, missed out on a place in the top 10 by 166 sales, according to a post on their Instagram page, but is now into its fourth week inside the top 20 and could still rank higher in the weeks to come. Russ’ ‘Gun Lean’ clocks in at #16, dropping down three places from last week, having peaked at #7.

’18HUNNA’ is now at #32, while Cadet and Deno’s ‘Advice’ is still going strong at #44, having spent 20 weeks in the chart so far. AJ Tracey’s ‘Psych Out!’ is at #48 and Swarmz’ collaboration with Tion Wayne on ‘Bally’ has slipped a place from #51 to #52.

The viral success of ‘Options’, caused by a s steady stream of fan videos doing their best trapmash dance, has helped to keep the track’s buzz alive. ‘Options’ currently sits at #5 in Apple Music’s UK Top 100 playlist, a playlist featuring the most played songs in the UK. Fredo’s second collaboration with Dave, ‘All I Ever Wanted’ sits at #16, while Dave also another top 30 entry in this playlist at #24 with ’18HUNNA’ alongside Headie One.

‘Psych Out!’ from AJ Tracey sits two places below at #26. ‘Comfortable’ (Yungen x Dappy) ranks as the 35th-most popular song on Apple Music in the UK, with Yxng Bane’s ‘Needed Time’ rounding off the top 40 with a spot at #39.

Over at Spotify, who recently announced they now have over 200 million monthly active users, this past week saw ‘Options’ rack up over 290,000 streams at #9 in top 200 UK charts. ‘Funky Friday’ was the 30th-most streamed song in the UK this past week on Spotify, with ’18HUNNA’ at #40.
